The Black Eagle Rondane a rugged outdoor knife designed to stand up to intensive use when you need it. Named after Rondane national park, a harsh but starkly beautiful park where the reindeer roam. A landscape of vast plateaus, lush valleys and imposing mountain peaks.
The Rondane a true all-rounder whose robust construction makes it suitable for use in outdoor or bushcraft activities. It opens easily with its thumb stud or by pressing the button on the side of the blade. This is because the Rondane features a Button-Lock. This button-locking mechanism is easy to operate and locks the knife in the open position. The broad leaf-shaped blade is made of 8Cr13MoV steel. A steel with excellent toughness and very good resharpenability. A black coating is also applied; this coating is not only there for looks but also increases corrosion resistance and reduces cutting resistance. The handle is made of textured G10, which is a composite material with excellent abrasion resistance, a solid grip (even in wet conditions) and a subtle but luxurious appearance. The knife is equipped with a deep-carry carry clip and a lanyard hole.
